CORE DRILLING WALL SAWING FLAT SAWING DEMOLITION

THE MEYER BUCK ESTATE

CLIENT: Stanford University

CONTRACTOR: Coulter Construction

SCOPE OF WORK
The historic Meyer Buck House, built in 1918, was a conference and meeting center for Stanford until the 1989 earthquake damaged it. The house is being restored and will be used as the residence of the University president.

We were contracted to demolish the front and side entrances to create ramps in order to comply with the American Disabilities Act.

We also removed the original one hundred year-old bricks from the patio as the ground had subsided and given way. The bricks were concreted in so we had to cut the concrete off each brick to preserve them so that they could be reused on the patio.

COMMENT FROM CONTRACTOR:

We appreciate the fact that Phil Nichols came to check on the site personally. Not many companies do that. We know that he cares about the work and always finds a way to do what we need.
