THE BAY BRIDGE

SCOPE OF WORK:

New anchorage girders are being put in place to strengthen the existing bridge structure. We are currently working deep in the structure of the bridge coring our holes in the concrete abutments so that the contractors can key in the new steel girders to the current structure.

We are working on the anchorages from San Francisco to Yorba Buena Island.

Once these structures are complete we will be working on the saddle castings at the top of each tower to reinforce and strengthen the area holding the cables. To access these towers we have to climb up the cables.
